Fashion that makes 2022 Great👍

"Fashion that makes you look great "

1. Fashion

Fashion is a term that describes how people dress themselves. It can be used to describe clothing, accessories, makeup, hair styles, etc. In this blog we discuss fashion from a perspective of sustainability.

2. Clothing

Clothing is something that covers the body. We usually have 2-4 different items that we change into each day. This means we get a lot of material use and energy consumption. Depending on what type of cloths are being worn makes a difference.

3. Accessories

Accessories are small items that help make our outfits complete. These can include things like necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, scarves, watches, etc. Accessorizing helps us express ourselves through fashion and stand out in a crowd.

 Cannabis-infused clothing

The apparel industry has been steadily increasing its focus on hemp and other natural fibers, but we are not yet seeing significant cannabis-infused clothes. In fact, we may need to wait until at least 2022 before we start to see this trend.

 Cannabis-infused cosmetics

The beauty industry is also heavily focused on ingredients like hemp, soybean, corn, etc., but it hasn't yet jumped into cannabis-infused products. We might have to wait until around 2022.

It got me thinking about how much fashion has changed over the years...I mean,  It's crazy to think about how things have evolved from then to now. When we take a step back and look at our past, we can't help but smile. It seems like only yesterday that our parents were taking these same pictures. We've come a long way since then and there are some great changes that we can still enjoy today. Let's take a peek into history and see what we have learned:

Fashion Trends Over Time:

- In the 1600s, clothes consisted of mostly heavy fabrics and simple designs. These outfits could easily be worn over rough clothing and had no need to be washed regularly. They were practical, but not stylish. By the mid 1700s, the use of corsets began to decline and people started wearing looser, lighter materials. At the beginning of the 1800s, styles became more daring and fashionable. Women wore short skirts, tight bodices, and high heels. Men dressed in coats with tails. People thought that these styles were sexy and modern, and many couples would wear matching outfits. By the end of the century, women started wearing pants and men started wearing suits. This transition lasted until the 1940s, when a trend of casual dressing started to spread throughout society. Today, styles continue to change. From the 1950s to the 2000s, women wore miniskirts, platform shoes, and wigs. Nowadays, fashion trends focus on form fitting clothing, and less makeup. Overall, fashion has changed drastically over time and continues to evolve even today.

 Changing Clothing Materials:

- Early on, fabric was difficult to dye. Silk was the first material used for clothing, which was dyed using natural dyes. Cotton was introduced later, but didn't become popular until the late 1700s, when it replaced silk. Before that point, cotton wasn't suitable for dresses due to its thickness. Later, rayon was developed, which is stronger than cotton and was used to make knitwear. Wool is still considered the strongest fabric for clothing and remains popular today. However, some other materials have been created to compete with wool. Nylon is strong, elastic, and doesn't shrink. Lycra is flexible and stretchy, while spandex creates a three dimensional effect. Some materials are designed for special purposes, such as denim jeans, tights, and leggings.

Trying to get fashionable while using your favorite clothing can turn out to be a challenge. You have to try hard enough to keep your clothes looking fresh while making sure that they are not damaged from getting dirty. This is particularly true if you want to wear your clothes outside where they could easily get wet or dirty. But what about your jewelry? Are you willing to risk losing them if they were to get wet? If you are like me, then I am here to tell you that this is definitely not something you should worry about. In fact, it would be much better if you just don't care at all. And here's why...

When you wash your jewelry, you need to make sure to dry it completely before putting it away. If you do not, you might find yourself having a problem similar to mine. Because my jewelry gets really dirty after being worn almost daily. Even though I carefully washed it, it still ends up covered in dirt and grime. I was able to clean them up, but only temporarily. That's when I started thinking, "Why should I invest time into washing my jewelry?"

I decided to give up trying to care for my jewelry properly because I realized that it was taking too long. Since I didn't want to spend so much time cleaning it, I thought maybe I could simply stop caring about it until I had the chance to buy some new pieces. It turns out, I was right. My jewelry has been in the same condition for four months now without any intervention. They look brand new and I have never seen anything like it. Even when we go on vacation, our jewelry always looks perfect since we take great care of it.

So whether you're wearing rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, or even anklet, make sure to remember these three simple rules of fashion: 1) Don't wash your jewelry unless it looks dirty; 2) Be mindful of how often you use your jewelry; and 3) Dry your jewelry thoroughly before storing it. When you follow these steps, you'll be able to enjoy your jewelry longer than ever before!
